What to expect on Sundays

Join us on Sunday mornings at 10am in Dolores Park to slow down, step away from our screens, and reconnect with the living world and each other.

Look for our "K" garden flag near the palm trees close to 20th & Dolores. That’s where we gather.

What We Do Each Week

  • An Earth-centered reading: Every Sunday centers on a single theme or story. We draw from ecologists, poets, philosophers, traditional ecological knowledge, and even children’s books. Anything that invites awe and grounding.

  • Reflection together: We explore a few gentle questions inspired by the reading. Share what’s on your heart and mind, or simply sit back and listen. We’ll usually break into pairs, then reflect as a larger group.

  • Quiet time: 15–20 minutes of unstructured silence to sit on the grass, watch the birds, feel the breeze, journal, or simply rest.

  • Warm community: A steady, grounded space to connect with neighbors who value nature, mindfulness, and thoughtful presence.

The Sunday Gathering

  • 10:00 AM - Welcome & Settling In: Find a spot on the blanket, pick up the weekly bulletin, and get comfortable.

  • 10:10 AM - Weekly Reading: A short story, passage, or poem centered on our theme.

  • 10:20 AM - Sharing & Listening: Group conversation reflecting on the reading and our week.

  • 11:00 AM - Quiet with the Earth: Unstructured stillness to wander, journal, or rest.

  • 11:20 AM - Closing Blessing: A brief grounding word to send us into the week ahead.

  • 11:30 AM - Snacks & Social Time: Optional time to linger, chat, and share light snacks.
